Rise, a poem

Expanding past the confines

the victim narratives

of our minds

once defined;

Instead

baring open hearts on the sleeves of our souls,

so deeply surrendered and devoted

to living

Fulfilled

A life

of heart-centered service—

THE purpose—

in reverent relationship

to self,

and every other, who mirrors back

that we're all one.

Interconnected.

Through Earth mother,

the first birther.

May we all see

the infinite unfolding

Possibilities

To rise,

to-gether,

in love.

In our unique ways, we’re all breaking the molds we were taught we needed to fit into in order to be accepted, loved, valued.

We're burning away what isn't our True nature, True Self, True essence, and rising from the ashes.

We often come to this individuation process in the dark despair and discomfort of having lost ourselves in:

  • Work we thought we should be doing, but lacks meaning and fulfillment

  • Relationships that mirrored the comfortable dysfunction of our youth, lacking depth, empathy, and intimacy

  • Following familial, cultural, and societal conditioning in blind solidarity, lacking honesty, authenticity, sovereignty, and divine creative expression

Through the darkness, we begin to not only find ourselves—that our own radiant light has been guiding us back to the home within the entire time, but also find the version of God we believe in as this interconnection of love and consciousness through all things, and then we also find each other again—this time, coming together in wholeness and commUNITY as unique expressions of divine love.
